At Merryweather, we’re making estate planning law better for everyone by focusing on what really matters: you.

We created Merryweather because we wanted to create a law firm that provided exceptional estate planning and tax advice while also being approachable, transparent, and helpful.

Because let’s be honest: when you need legal support, you need things to be simple. You need someone who knows what’s going on and can explain your situation to you clearly and empathetically. You need someone who’s going to really listen and work with you to create the outcomes you want, not just prescribe you the highest-billed solution.

Things you need from a lawyer:

 Exceptional legal skill

 Empathy, honesty, and proactive communication

 Clear, transparent pricing

Things you don’t need from a lawyer:

 A bunch of technical jargon

 Radio silence as you sit and wonder what’s going on

 The ongoing low-level tension of worrying what your bill is going to be

It’s law for the modern world: clear, creative, and collaborative.

We provide you with the legal expertise you need to protect your legacy so you can live your life confidently, without having to worry about the “what ifs”.

We call it the Merryweather Method.

Most law firms are named after their founders — but we took a different approach, choosing to focus on our clients instead.

The firm name is not based on the founding attorneys, but instead on our vision of the families we are trying to serve.

And so we came up with the Merryweathers: an amalgamation of our best clients, representing those we serve.

Plus, the name Merryweather reminds us of fair weather, prosperity and good fortune, all of which we’re working to create for our clients.
